Advice needed on purchasing A/C compressor
Looking for suggestions on best place to purchase an AC Delco A/C compressor, dryer, etc. for an 82? Anyone have connections to purchase these wholesale?

On those R4 compressors, and Auto Zone rebuilt is good as any, I don't care for the super high prices GM wants...period...just not worth it....
thing is, those receiver/dryers come these days as listed for the vettes...with two schrader valves one on each side of the input line, DO NOT TRY BENDING THAT 3/4 INCH DISCHARGE TUBE FROM TOP OF EVAPORATOR, IT WILL KILL THE EVAPORATOR COSTING 200 BUX MORE!!!!.....so in the AZone number sequence, I found an identical reciever dryer with the offending port missing....just ONE number lower in sequence....check around....
the orifice tubes are cheap...make sure you use plenty of ester oil....change out all the O rings for the green ones....
