Re: SIDEPIPES WITHOUT MUFFLERS ARE LOUD!!!! (Chuck Harmon)
If I had your car, Chuck, I don't think I'd ever have it under five thousand! :)

*edit* PPS Chuck- I wanna bring two of my car loving friends by sometime to go for a ride in the L-88. Think you could stand driving it three times? (Hey, I gotta go for another ride! I might even bring the camcorder. ...if I can hold on to it?)

Yesterday we were working on the finshing touches of a base 350. I was just bending over to adjust the holley a bit and the other guy turns it over, open headers, took a few hours for the ringing to stop sounding like Big Ben and finaly today it has stopped but definate hearing loss still.

Me too!! I fired up Silvia for the first time last night, and the 2K cam break in with open headers brought all the guys in the neighborhood over to my driveway.. But I loved the music of open headers.... want more!!!!

To be honest, I'd be running open header side pipes if it weren't for my neighbors. Coming in at 1:00AM after a night of cruising on open header side pipes probably wouldn't go over real well with the neighbors.
I honestly didn't think it was too loud. The sound of the big block shifting at 6500RPMs with open headers was truely a beautiful sound :yesnod:
