Default Power Steering Woes...

Is it just me or is every C-3 owner cursed with leaking power steering? Several years ago I rebuilt my control valve with a kit from Mid-America...what an ordeal. The steering was very lose...it felt like I was literally steering a Cadilac. I could steer it with one finger. It lasted about a year until one day when I started it and heard a whine from the power steering pump. I shut it down and found all my steering fluid on the garage floor! @#$%&%#@?
I cleaned it up and let sit for the winter. About April I ordered a new valve from Eckler's and installed it three weeks ago. I need a front end job and my steering wheel centered which I am having done this Friday. I was very happy with the job. The steering was stiff as a sports car should be. I figured my first attempt at the valve was messed up but who the hell cares...I now have great steering with no leaks. Today I desided to adjust newly installed garage doors. I backed my baby out onto the driveway and did the work. When I replaced the car in the garage I noticed a little stain in the driveway...power steering fluid @#$%&%$#@#$%&!!! I got under the car with a light and inspected all the fittings and connections. All tight and dry.
The leak seems to be coming from that rubber thing that the threaded piece comes through and connects to the arm. I really not a mechanic but I'm positive that I installed the @#$%&$# thing right. Could it be that the car sits for a week maybe two without starting?
Could it be a bad valve? I really love this car but I'm at my wits end right about now... It's only a small leak mind you but I know that from small leaks come bigger ones! What should I do? Help
