So the **** adjusts compression, and rebound by "compress and twist"? Or is there another ****?
Dial at base of shock adjusts compression dampening look at the top of the shaft there is a little drilled button up there for rebound adjustments. These shocks are know as "KONI double D" shocks. I have another set of rears but the would probably need rebuilds as they have been sitting for over 20 years. $450 for the pair to anyone interested.
I just installed single rebound adjustable shocks last summer. I set them just passed half way towards firm by compressing all the way and you'll feel it fall into a notch as you turn the shaft. Then you turn it all the way counter clockwise to get your starting point. After turning left and right shocks about 3/4 of a turn clockwise. I compressed them both side by side and let them rebound. While watching to make sure they rebound at the same rate. Some minor adjustments and I nailed it!!!
