RE; 76 C3. Spark Plug Wire Set
Question; I was on Jeggs web site and looking for a wire set that routes over the valve covers and the boots fit a regular style distributor cap.
It appears most spark plug sets offered have the distributor boots that will fit the HEI cap and the little tangs that insert into the HEI ring.
Looking for a good set of 8.5 MM spark plug wires that snap on the distributor the old way without an HEI ring, w/o spending a $170.
Suggestions?

Instead having the wires routed behind the heads and in in between headers and manifold, I decided to route them over the valve covers. It does not look nice as it was before but it will save my wires from getting burned again.
If you want to run them behind the engine, I would recommend purchasing heat shields but they are freaking expensive. Set of 4 for 50 dollars.
I got the Accel ferro spiral 300 8.8 mm race wires from Amazon for under 60 bucks. They sell them at summit racing but I saved 40 dollars on Amazon prime for same set of wires.
Part number is 7048 for 90 degrees boot on both ends. 7049 has 90 degrees boot and straight boot.
I've raced with these wires on the track so I know they performed well under high rpm.
