Came back from a Dr. appt and pulled into the garage. Noticed smoke coming out of the rear wheel well on the driver's side. Tried to look underneath from behind but couldn't see anything - and played heck trying to stand back up. Any ideas what could be the cause? Gonna have to wait till the back is better anyways....lol.
All that comes to mind is.
1. You have a lead foot.
2. Your E-brake was on.
3. You have a brake dragging.
4. You have something stuck to the exhaust.
5. Something has shifted and you have a tire rubbing.
6. If you live in Seattle or Denver, a hippy could be living under there.
7. Their is a fuel return line that runs back under there.
8. Check your main battery cables under the battery box.
Got it fixed. Passenger side rear caliper was leaking. Driver side rear hose was collapsed. And Bubba decided to run a new brake line and attach it to the bottom of the frame. Seems the brake lines won't hold up very well as a surface for the floor jack to contact. lol New calipers, pads, hoses, and brake line.
But I did find out what the clunk noise from the rear was that I heard on occasion. The spare tire carrier was empty and had some up and down play. Fixed it also. Rear bearings checked out fine as did all the u-joints.
