If your engine is stock then I suspect any of the supporting vendors, Corvette Central, Wilcox, etc. would be able to provide you with stock motor mounts to fit your 69 - 350. There are also poly and solid motor mounts available but they are not necessary for a stock engine.

You should be able to remove the long motor mount bolts from the existing motor mounts and then jack your engine up from the front to remove and replace the existing mounts. Be careful not to damage anything when jacking the engine, and don't jack on the oil pan. I would recommend jacking on the harmonic balancer but with a cushion support on the balancer instead of directly on the jack.

Thick rubber or maybe blocks of wood would probably work fine. You might also need to disconnect your exhaust depending on the amount of movement available.

Hope this is helpful.

Were you asking about the motor "horns" connected to the frame or the the motor mounts? I need to replace the motor mount horns on my vette but am unsure how to go about it also

91, What do you mean by horns? The mounts are supplied as two one-piece units, one for each side. The mounts are the only direct connections from the engine to the frame.

I recommend Corvette Central's stock style (but locking) rubber engine mounts. Put these in my 1970 and have no complaints. May as well do your transmission mount while you're at it.

The locking style rubber mounts are all you need. They are designed so engine torque reaction cannot pull the driver side mount apart - not a concern on the passenger side as that side compresses under high load conditions.

I seriously question solid mounts, as the C3 frame isn't the stiffest which makes me wonder if solid mounts can put undue stress on the block and cause it to twist slightly?

Sorry I just saw your response. I was referring to the engine support towers or what some people call the engine support horns. As far as I know the supporting vendors do not sell the support towers.

I hear what you're saying, but I don't have a clue what you mean. There's nothing that supports the engine expressly other than the mounts as I've described and various connections to other parts of the car like the transmission. Better put a picture up of what you're talking about. The only horn like parts I can think of are the exhaust manifolds.

i wouldn't jack on the harmonic balancer . a block of wood under the pan rail would be good

Just asking to prevent the OP from doing this. I use a piece of 2x4 and raise by the oil pan rail. mike...

Ok appears you mean the sections of the frame itself that the mounts actually bolt to. Suspect you're going to be cutting those out if so. Assume they must be rusted or bent badly if you want to change them?

I have a feeling that this might just be what they call motor mounts down in Tennessee.
