Will a smoke machine detect such leaks?
I can have one available...

Default hmmmmm

you never know...
on the front of the engine on the passengers side, right in front of the fuel pump there's a threaded hole that goes all the way through to the
oil pump pushrod, at high speed / hi rpm it can spew oil..IIRC

Heres a thread that shows it

Thanks man, I've already checked that hole, I have a screw in it so it should be ok... I've just ordered a dye for the oil and an UV light.... let's see if I am able to solve this problem! thanks

Looking at the pics. I am going to say valve cover gasket or intake Manifold. if you look at your exhaust pipe, there is only oil from the starter back. There is no oil on the front of it. That would make me think it is not coming from the fuel pump mount nor from the fuel pump rod bolt.
There is oil all over your firewall going up pretty high, so might be more than one leak.

I sent you a pm about your avatar.

I would check the back of the engine at the top (oil pressure sensor?)

if the rear seal was leaking would that cause the clutch to slip ?I say you have a leaking oil pan gasket .consider a 1 piece rubber oil pan gasket .

Honestly, guys, I think it is the high pressure line going the oil pressure guage. My car looked EXACTLY like that and everyone suspected the main seal...until I talked to someone who knew what they were talking about.

The fitting is located at the rear of the engine behind the intake. There is a little nylon hose that leaves it and goes into the firewall.

That nylon hose is in the high pressure side of the oil pump, so even the smallest of cracks can lead to a seemingly huge amount of oil showing up.

There is a replacement you can do with a copper tube instead of the stupid nylon hose. It is a little tricky to find the ferrules you'll need to mate to the fitting behind the oil pressure guage in the dash.

I replaced mine and my oil loss went from PAINFUL to damn near zero. Just from that one fix.

Guys I'm a married guy so I have very little time right now in order to use the UV stuff (even if I have already bought it!). But I'm also interested to understand better where to look at when I will have finally time to work on the leaking baby...

Isn't the oil sensor on the top of the oil filter in the driver side of the block? thanks

One thing I have forgot to say: oil leak is much (much) more when I reach higher RPM (above 2500RPM)... if I drive like a granny almost no leak...

Also I've noticed there's some strange metallic tag coming from the block, what is it?

It comes from the back of the starter so it should be I'll pan gasket or main seal... I've bought both and I'm waiting for them to arrive!

Pretty easy to find the leak with UV oil detection kit, everyone should have one, you can use it for brake leaks and cooling system too
