I own a 75 stingray. I'm told by my local dealer that I need a turn signal lever that "push-snaps" in, not screws in, or is attached by a screw. I cannot find this lever anywhere. Anyone know anything about this? Thanks

The 75-76 turn signal lever was held in place by a screw that passed through it into the switch. You'll have to take the top of the column apart to install the lever.
Here is a page on my site that will take you step by step to where you need t be and if you get confused Jim Shea is the steering column specialist here.. He has some of the best pages on his site to help you as well.
Points of Information:
1969-1976 Corvette Standard (non-adjustable) steering column. Turn signal lever held in place by a screw that attaches directly to the turn signal switch. You will need to remove the steering wheel and hub. There is a hole in the locking plate that allows you to reach the screw without further disassembly.
1969-1976 Corvette Tilt & Telescoping steering column. There is a post connected to the turn signal switch that extends below the switch itself. The post has a tapped hole for the turn signal lever to screw into. No disassembly of the column is required.
1977-1982 Corvette Standard (non-adjustable) steering column and the Tilt & Telescoping steering column. The turn signal lever "plugs into" a dimmer pivot mechanism. There is a crossover arm that connects the dimmer pivot to the turn signal switch. The crossover arm is held in place by a screw that attaches directly to the turn signal switch.

All of the major Corvette suppliers carry the turn signal switch for a 1969 through 1976 Corvette. There is one for the standard (non-adjustable) column and one for the T&T column. It is not the easiest procedure to replace the switch. I have complete instructions that are covered in my 1969-82 Tilt & Telescoping Column Disassembly & Repair papers #1 and #2.
