Hi guys. So a few weeks ago I replaced the header gaskets on my '78 L82. In doing so i had to remove the starter. Now that it is all back together something is killing the battery while the car is sitting off. I'm 99.9% sure I put all the connections back properly on the starter. I didn't remove anything else electrical except the wire going to the block on driver side which I think is to do with the thermostat.
Any help would be great. Also found afterwards that now my wipers don't work and they aren't fully retracted to where they normally sit.

There is a large single black wire, it is the ground for the fan and wiper motor.
Make sure that it is connected to a starter or bell housing bolt and NOT on the big lug with the battery cable.
