Clutch safety switch hookup
I finished up my R&R of the pedal assembly today for my swap from auto to manual in my 81. The assembly manual makes it look like there's a connection for the clutch pedal safety switch in the harness and a pigtail (which I found online), but I couldn't locate the harness plug. Would this connector be present in an auto car? If not, any suggestions for hookup? I didn't find a whole lot of info for this detail from others who have done the swap.

On my 76 the connection for the neutral switch was on the auto stick.Ran a pair of wires from the neutral safety switch on the pedal assembly to the console.Then spliced them in place of the auto neutral switch.Best to prep the wires before bolting up the pedal assembly,cuz that switch is in a PITA location.Don't know if your year has a connection already in place for the manual pedal assembly.My 76 had no plug in place.
