You have a GM Target Master/Goodwrench crate motor engine code.
10066036 is the casting number and that indicates a 1986 or newer. You're not going to be able to get much info about the specs without pulling it apart, but there "should" (not always) bea suffix code stamped on the front pad. If you find it, post what it says and it may help.

Google search comes up with:
10066036...350.....4 bolt main...TargetMaster/Goodwrench crate engine, 2-piece rear seal, "Hecho en Mexico" Made in Mexico
Not 100% sure on the suffix but the M = GM of Mexico, 12= 12th mo of year, 19=19th day of mo.
2 = could be 1992
VP is the suffix added to all of the goodwrench/targetmaster 260 HP engines
Have the same engine in my 79. Seems like a pretty stout little motor.

I've had the same crate motor (used) for about 8 years now. I bought it off a co-worker for $150. It has the same engine casting number, 10066036, and a stamped number of 1M0513 8VP. Casting decode sites indicate it's an '86 or later motor. I was told it ran before it was pulled, but the oil that remains in the pan is quite black, with some clear water from exposure to the elements. I've just left it on an engine stand in my carport without tearing into it. Got a 4 bbl Edelbrock intake in dire need of bead blasting :-). That I can do.
The heads *look* like '69 stock design with 1.94/1.50 valves (key G on a head casting mark cheat sheet) but the casting bosses are fairly hard to determine.
Anyway, good to hear it could be a "stout motor". And that the mysterious "8VP" suffix simply means Target Master/Goodwrench crate. This one will probably need a complete rebuild, when I finally retire and have some time to get into it.
Currently have a '67 Chevy van with a sweet stock 2bbl 283, 3oT, runs pretty well and could get more power with 4 bbl or EFI, etc. That one has the PowerPak heads. Probably makes 175 HP on a good day. I'm sort of a Mopar guy but I have to say I do see the good points of a Chevy small block now...
