Hi All, I just picked up a 1974 convertible project that needs door glass. I found an ad on Ebay that is selling both sides very reasonable. My question is... will coupe glass fit into a convertible?
I am not going with stock parts.... if I keep the car I want 80 style seats and some other upgrades, so correct match is not important.
I will have many other questions since the interior is gutted and the motor is a TPI.
Thanks
Just so I dont buy the wrong glass, what side of the glass is different? I have a 78 that I can reference another piece of glass to, but not having any door glass at all in the 74, I dont know what I am actually looking for. I dont want to get stuck buying something that will not fit.

The rear edges. Convertible glass has a distict slant to it.

You want convertible door glasses.
Try Google > Images 1974 Corvette and compare coupe and convertible pictures. http://www.google.com/search?safe=active&hl=en&site=imghp&tbm=isch&source=hp&biw=792&bih=479&q=1974+Corvette&oq=1974+Corvette&gs_l=img.12..0l10.2043.7675.0.9921.13.13.0.0.0.0.141.1232.11j2.13.0.ernk_timediscounta..0.0...1.1.18.img.r73JINnsbw0
You can also purchase the 74 assembly instruction manual (AIM). The AIM has diagrams of both types of door glasses and will also help when it comes time to install your glass.
