Default 75 wiring question

I have ran a 12 guage wire from the fuse box to outside the fire wall, putting a terminal block in and I want to run both the electric fuel pump and electric fans off the block. Each will have it's own circuit breaker and relay. Any problems with this?

I did the same (but with a 14ga) to run my electric fuel pump and electric choke, but my fans get power from the starter connection.

The fans are 8 amps each for a total of 16 amps and the electric fuel pump is 3 amps not sure about choke. If I use the alternator or starter I will need to put a switch inside the car to turn them on and off as they have constant power. the fans is the only cooling for car so I have been running them constantly.

For the fans I would use a constant power source such as the alternator or starter solenoid and install a relay and a temperature sensor.

NO. That's what relays are for.

If you have both relays and a temperature switch then the fuse box won't need to provide switched power directly to the fans and the fans won't run continuously.

Please excuse my dumbness but if I get what your saying:
If i connect my fans through a temp switch, relay and circuit breaker to alternator the fans will shut off when engine stops? Correct?

Default 75 wiring Help

Ok I wired my electric fans to relay and rewired electric fuel pump on its own and everything there is working great . Nothing is running off HEI dist. Now when I turn off engine it doesn't want to run off I think that's what it's called. Checked wires. Dist is tight. Engine sounds good. Any suggestions?
