Convertible Top Weatherstrip Question
During a short cruise on Sunday, I was given some incentive to install the new (now a year old) weatherstrip kit for my top that's been sitting in the box it shipped in.
I figured I start with the smaller pieces first (top side pieces) and was surprised that there wasn't any adhesive used on them. Of course, I hadn't thought about it, and after doing so - I guess it's not really needed .... and no, there was no leakage there.
My question is, are some of these pieces properly installed without weatherstrip adhesive?

WOW, looks like it went from nice to not in a hurry. I have 3 convertibles and they all use either nuts and studs or adhesive to keep them in place.
The biggest issue is with new rubber the glass needs to be readjusted to seal correctly so having a shop do it gets a better seal from my experience.
On my C3 who every did the work did a crappy job on the passenger side. The window needs to move back to allow it to move up more to make better contact with the top seal.
