Default obx long tubes, anyone running them

Shopping for headers, I've read old post about the cheaper stainless ones hanging way low, and the sidepipe style ones, but not found much info on the "obx" brand regular long tubes. If you have them, or have experience with them, let me know, Thanks

I just bought the complete obx stainless steel racing headers and sidepipes off from ebay of course the sbc ones, for around $750. they look awesome was a little hassle to get them on my car took maybe an hour but for out of the box pipes and being already bent to fit around everything on my car im happy, i havent been able to start my car yet with them as im having serious electrical issues atm but when i do ill let you know how they perform. only issue is on my 80 vet the pipes are real close/touching my rocker panels so thats something to consider before you buy.

i also have the side mount headers they fit well once they were ready to be put on they went right in, no issues. i can't say about the under car type but their products are well engineered and well made. you could do worse

did your headers happen to have scratch/indent marks on them from them bending the pipes at the factory? I have this long scratch lined on the headers right by the cylinder head kinda looks bad because the pipes look so good and then theres those scratches in plane site

i did not have any dents, but there were some fine scratches mostly from shipping. they came well wrapped and they take little polishing, some mothers and a power ball took care of it. they will get some scratches just driving the car. they were 1/2 the price of hookers and I'm sorry but they fit lots better. quality product, so far.
