headlight trouble
Hey, guys. I am working on my 1980 L-82 corvette trying to figure out how to get the headlights and instrument lights to work. the head lights both pop up, but only the right side illuminates. In addition, none of my instrument lights work, and I'm unable to activate brights. Do you think this is a dimmer switch issue, headlight switch, or something else? thanks for any advice!

I just had a problem with mine, they would open but would not light up. It was the dimmer switch for the high and low beam. One of the forum guys pointed out what i could be and he was right. Go to NAPA and get a new one, about $12. Hope this helps.

Thanks! I've got the new switch and see where to install it. Unfortunately it's in an amazingly difficult spot on the steering column. How did you install yours without taking the entire dash and instrument panel system out, or is that just what you have to do?
