Monster Spoiler 2
Forum: Did anyone notice the C2 in this months CHP?
It also had a monster clear plastic rear spoiler extending the original.
Since these are big buck comp cars, I am thinking that some testing has been done?
Of course they are only going 70mph and cd is probably not an issue.
I have long thought that a spoiler about that size, laid back at 30* would be more effective than what is available.
I have looked at many spoilers from that era and they all look about the same. The question for me is:
Do they look the same because the cars are all about the same size and shape, and this is what works?
They look the same due to style and design issues?
I would like to see a PC rear spoiler doubled, and some yarn attached.
We know from the wind tunnel that the rear needs help. JMHO
