I've added the GM posi lube, check the rear mount looks new not loose, u joint feel tight. but when I let out the clutch when turning, especailly when backing up I hear just a single thump.
yesterday I was down shifting to 2nd while turning left in an intersection and heard it.

also trailing arm mounts look fine.

ok you added the posi lube, what did you do after you added the lube?
An older mechanic friend had told me years ago that after adding the lube, you need to go to an empty parking area and drive the car at a slow speed 10 to15 mph in complete circles to the left and then to the right about 20 to 25 times each way. His thought was that just adding the lube and driving normal did not distribute the lube properly. But after driving as descibed above, you knew that the lube was evenly distributed throughout the rear assembly. I always did it that way after adding the lube and it worked quite well!!!
