oil change
have vet and camero both 1980. only put on appox 300 mi on each. have changed oil and filter every year. use wolf head 10/30.
oil comes out like brand new. any problem doing every 2 or 3rd year??
seems like a waste.
thanks in advance

No problem changing less frequently, but an important factor for lubricating the engine is to have the oil reach operating temp as much as possible to rid any moisture that can occur from condensation.

only run them may thru oct. always get oil up to temp.
oil and filters are cheap. put additive in oil.
always figured why not just change yearly but what to sense if im not getting any benefit from it

Oil additive is really not necessary if you are using quality oil, which I'm sure you are.
Change every other year without additive, and you will save without
harm to the vette.
