Replacing drivers door hinge pins
But, it is easier if you can remove the top hinge, as if you had everything open like when you are doing interior work
One other tip: Once I had the access panels of the door, I sprayed white paint inside on the hinges before I unbolted them so that I would be able to put it back exactly where it was when it left the factory. When I finished and bolted it back together, the door closed perfectly with no additional adjustment needed.

Be careful of the top pin hitting the body when you are removing it.
Remove the door panels and support the door on a small floor jack with wood blocks. Not on the fiberglass...but on the metal in front of the weatherstrippinig.
Remove all eight hinge bolts in the door. You have to remove the small cover to reach the top ones.
Slide the door back until the hinges are just inside the door. About 4 inches.
Use a dremel moto tool and cut off discs to remove the heads on the hinges.
Drive out the bottom hinge from the top with a long piece of 1/4 inch steel dowel. After it clears the top part of hinge you can use your dremel to grind the splines down on the top of the pin where you cut off the head. This will make it easier to drive the pin through the bottom part of the hinge. Or you can just pound it through.
At this point you are using the top hinge to balance the door in place.
Remove the hinge in the door and replace the bushings, then the hinge and set the pin from the top. Remember, you have to really whack on the top of the pin to set the splines into the top part of the hinge. You MUST drive the spines in to keep the pin from coming loose.
After the bottom is back together, you can use the couple inches in the door for balance as you drive out the top hinge the same way.
Be careful driving out the top so that the steel dowel doesn't rub on the fender. The bottom half of the hinge can be drive out from the side. Replace bushings.
Grind a "D" into the top of the new hinge pin. Carefully use your dowel and work the pin into the hinge. Once it is in place, I use a 1/2 inch, 6 inch long bolt to seat the splines.
Push the door back in and put in all eight bolts. Use the jack to ease the outside of door all the way up, and tighten the bolts.
Try the door carefully for fit. It should be good. If not, loosen bolts and set the door.
