Packing up and moving
Greetings, all. Looks like the new house deal we've been working on is finally going to happen. We close on the sale of our current house tomorrow (Friday 6/28) and close on the purchase of the "new" one next Tuesday.
I had to empty my current 2 car garage into a storage unit so we could get a new ceiling put in it - that was fun fun fun.
New place has an acre of land, two car garage, plus an additional detached one car garage and plenty of room for a big old shop. Closest neighbor is some 300 yards away - he claims he’ll never sell any of his 30 acres, but we are hoping his kid’s might make us a deal one day.
That's the good news - bad is no Road Runner cable internet access. So I guess its satellite TV type connections and/or dialup. Any suggestions? I'll probably be gone for a while and then show an assortment of white boxes with red "X"'s until I get all my pics uploaded to whatever the new site will be.

Best of luck, we just went through a move ourselves. Better neighbors, less taxes, lots of room, 2 car carport, and a 30x50 workshop (toybox) ;).

The wife is looking at Dishnetwork or Direct TV.
The place has an incredible old dish - looks to be about 6' across - not sure what I'll be able to pick up with it - possibly a little mud wrestling from North Korea.
We will be glad to get over there and get settled and somewhat back to normal - having realtors in and out showing our house as been a bit of a pita.
