Default 1980 Body Bushing height

Hello, I need some help.
Does anyone have the height measurement of the body bushing of a 1980 Corvette? I purchased a Fixer upper and the previous owner had installed new body bushings. The tire to wheel well gap looks very excessive. If I need to replace the bushings now would be the time before I get to far .
Thanks

Has the rear spring been replaced? My first hunch on your problem would be the spring, not body mounts.

Hi Mike, Thanks for the reply.
It could be my springs but the car seems to sit even front to rear
It is not a new spring and the original bolts were used.

You have to roller the car back and forth to settle the suspension after jacking it up.
If that's not it, then someone really cranked up on the spring link bushings.

springs and did they use the correct bolts at each end of the spring.
I see C3 sitting wrong all the time, especially in front. to me,
that is way out of wack, but some guy brought a 69 so called restored vette to a local show and it looked like a four wheel drive BLazer...lol.. it sat up maybe 2 to 4 inches at ALL four wheels......looked stupid .....to,me , but the car won best of the show .....it was an awful restoration .......but that's a local show for ya , clowns for judges.

I would think about 27 or 29 inch ride height measured from edge of fender lip to ground would be stock for an 80 would be in the ball park. in the rear, and about 1 inch or so lower in the front. get out the tape measure and take some readings see where you are at.

Thanks for the input. all 8 body mounts that are installed are the same size I have found that the body is from a earlier year 78-79? than the frame I assume that that should not make a difference. If it is the spring I was going to order the longer bolt kit from Ecklers .
which should drop the rear ? What do you guys think. Thanks again, its great to have people in the know to bounce stuff off

The longer bolt kit will sit it down about 2 inches. Do you have the fiberglass spring or the 7 or 9 leaf spring?
