Default 79 vette

I just wanted to say thanks to all the forum readers who took the time to answer my post. After 2 weeks I have finally solved the problem of my battery draining. It turned out to be the alarm relay that was shorted out and causing the drain on the battery. I disconnected the relay and no more drain. I hope this helps out some other corvette owners who have this problem.

Can I ask a stupid question?, where is this relay?, I would like to deisconnect mine now, before I start having problems,, which usually happens in the middle of a parking lot, or miles away from home,,,,

Sorry for hijacking the thread jtpie.
Is there a picture somewhere of this relay, or is it just the first/only/front relay under the console?. By the ebrake handle or in front of the shift lever?
