Default push rod question

I have one bent push rod in my 350 (1980 vette). My friend says I can use another push rod that is maybe 1/32 shorter until my new push rod of the right length comes in the mail.

Is that true? Or will that somehow damage the engine?

Thanks,
Larry

It should work as long as you adjust that valve properly.

Stock pushrods should nearly be a local auto parts store item. If you have roller rockers or something that takes an odd length then you should order one.

AS Bk noted- a little longer or shorter, as long as it's adjusted properly, will be a non issue.
