So i ended up going with an 80's dash and the 2010 camaro gauges and center counsel (which needs to be trimed to fit). Now my next question is what gen camaro/firebird/corvette/gto steering colum can i use to replace the one i currently have? my mechanic said it was do able and would only tac on an hour of labor or less if i were to pick up the parts. which i was hoping to get today from a GM salvage yard.
what im want is a tilt wheel with all the ***** and switches (washer, highbeams, what not). any experiences will be welcomed, i need to pick up the part about 1pm (pacific time) when the yard is open.
check with flaming river, i think they have a column with those features that would work. those new factory units are bulky and take up space that is at a premium.

Does the 77 vette column have those things on it, or is that not an option? Not really sure what you are up to. I would really like to see some pictures of it though.
well the idea is to use to all the switches (wipers, headlights, turn) all on the colum so when i take the dash in for reupostering it could have it looks smooth.
