Default Newbie Brake Issues

Hello all. As I posted earlier I am a new 1980 corvette owner ,one that has sat 20 years or so. So I am going thru the brakes as I have 3 of the four leaking, back pads were wore right to the metal, and the rotors are shot from the abuse, got lucky one of the rotors was already drilled out, the other was not. I was expecting that drilling them was gonna be difficult, but it wasn't that bad, so I am happy that is done, got the rotor off, no problem. So on to the next step, emergency brake cable is broke in two, and now I know why. Both assembly's were frozen solid. I got lucky and managed to free the right side, but the left side looks like a pin or something is broken down there. Looks like where it pivots on a pin or something is broken because it doesn't push the shoes out like the other side and I can see it moving around a lot down there. Question ,does it pivot on a pin in there and how much of a PITA is it to remove and fix? Looks like there is not a lot of room in there to be working. Any suggestions would be helpful and thanks.

These two videos helped me big time.

When I pulled my rotor I had a bunch of parts just fall out. I ordered the Tool and all new brake rebuild kit.
