After market or factory installed? My 1977 has a factory installed and key hole on the drivers side front fender.
If factory installed it may just require the key switch replaced. My 1977 has a horn also in the drivers side rear wheel well. You can disconnect the horn until you figure out why the system failed.

I'm not sure.. I'm without my info files tonight.. but I think you can un-plug the power source at the fuse panel for the alarm system. I'm checking right now.

Anti-theft alarm
Thanks Mako Joe and Willcox Corvette, just got the 69 and did not get an owners manual with it. Will try to locate the fuse and also the relay under the passenger side storage area. Next problem is the wipers and washer does not work, any suggestions would be appreciated,
