76 Neutral Safety Switch
The car was running great. Then one day it wouldn't turn over. Radio and buzzers work, just no crank. Checking the NSS with a 12v tester, the light doesn't come on. I took the NSS apart, there is green grease on the spring that the copper connector sits on. I lost the other copper connector so I'm going to get another NSS but was wondering if there could be an issue with the starter, and now that the NSS is jacked, can I still jump the NSS purple wires to test the starter?

You can temporarily connect the purple/white and the other purple until you get a new NSS.
Just remember the car will start with any shifter position.

Mine looked identical to yours on my 75, tried to rebuild it but just replaced it.
Yes use the purple/white and the other purple to bypass the NSS.
You can also the those two wires for a kill switch under the ash tray
