Heat insulations suggestions
I am starting to research different heat insulations to use on my car. The body is off the frame and the interior is completely out so this is the time. I also live where its 100+ degrees in the summer so cutting back the heat is a big deal for me.
What I am looking for is suggestions for heat insulation for four separate places as listed below.
1. Under the car, primarily the transmission tunnel and also the floor pans, so exterior of the car.
2. The fire wall on the engine side.
3. the fire wall on the interior side along with the floor.
4. Thoughts on using an exhaust wrap.
Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

general consensus is wrapping promotes rusting and is ugly.
search the forums as there are lots of threads on this. me, I think I am going to use reflectix from the hardware store.
