Default Replace water pump?

I'm planning on replacing my radiator with a new Dewitt direct fit. I was wondeing if while i'm working in the area if i should change out the water pump as well. It doesn't seem to be leaking but i did have a small leak on the lower radiator hose. The one that is on the car now is a factory replacement that has been on the car for atleast 16 years. I do have the original that i'm having rebuilt now. I'm just not sure if it's one of those things you just wait till it fails or is it a better bet just to change it now. I'm not looking to do any unnecessary repairs but didn't know if it was a good idea. I'm going to be changing out all the radiator hoses as well.

Thanks for any advice..

Go with a Flowkooler or similar water pump that has an improved impeller design.

I'm really looking for information on whether i should change it out or leave it alone. If i do change it out, i'm going with the original one i'm having rebuilt to keep the car as correct as possible.. Thanks for your help..

Since it's easy to change, I'd leave it alone.

I'd leave it until you need a new one. Quick and easy to replace when it goes.
