o2 sensor tailpipe mount on hooker sidepipes
For a while I was thinking about converting my big block to EFI. After having just spent a ton of money redoing my 68 Camaro, I've decided to just get the best tune out of the carb on my Corvette that I can.
I just got a good deal on a FAST wideband o2 sensor analyzer. I intend to use it to gather data to tune the carb as best as I can. Has anyone here hooked up a tailpipe adaptor like the FAST 170620 or the Innovate 3728 to these sidepipes? Clearing the 90° side exit on the pipe is what I'm concerned about. If I have to fab something up myself to make this work, I will, but for the cost of materials, I think the above two would be not that much more expensive than the cost of materials.
Basically, I just want to sniff the pipes without drilling and welding a bung in the collector, given that the collector is on the outside of the car and I haven't seen any solutions that I was really happy with on that front.
