Is it possible to put a supercharger on a motor with 10:1 compression? Don't want to shorten the stroke or use block flillers. If supercharger is to of the equation 150 shot nitrous here I come.

Hp is addictive and I want MORE!

With e85 for sure, maybe with water meth. Yellow bullet has the forced induction forum.

NO.

...with each pound of boost, your effective compression ratio raises. For your motor with 10.5:1 with just 4 pounds of boost puts you at 13.5:1 and at 6 pounds nearly 15:1.

(You can google forced induction effective compression ratio and see a chart)

8 to 8.5:1 is common for a street roots blower. Big power, high boost they can get down to 7:1. Some guys pull it of with low boost on 9 to 9.5:1, but I'd never do it.

More boost with lower compression is better then low boost with higher compression.
