Default Idle speed
Just a quick question, 1978 L82 corvette, auto trans. with ac. What rpms should it idle at? Thanks..

If you still have the emissions sticker, it will tell you. Ballpark is 600-700 at a guess.

My 1979 Motor manual says 700 in Drive for 1978 L82 automatic cars. Factory timing spec is 12 degrees advanced at idle.
