Now I am running 275/60r 15s out back. The car has flairs and 10 inch wheels. I have found some 295/50 r 15s does anyone know if they will fit ?or what the size diference would be? the tires on the car now fill the fenders and look good but I want more tire on the ground and a slightly smaller diameter would help gearing but to much would hurt the looks of the car.
The tires are on ebay and I have emaild the seller for the info I need but have not heard back.
Rick, it looks like you have aftermasket wheels, which may have a different
offset from the stock ones. I would check underneath right now, and see
how much clearance you have around the current tires. The 295s should be
about 1cm wider on each side from 275s.
it may it may not fit. since you have flares and wheels that use the flare nicely then you shouldnt have any problems running a tire thats 2cm wider. but best thing to do is just check the clearance like dave said. if it dosent look like it will hit anything it probably wont. take it to a tire shop and ask them their opinion. i know most of the places arround me would be happy to take a look and see if its possible.

Make sure you look right where the parking brake bracket is, it will cut down your tire in a second if it touches, I grinded mine down considerably and it still works

A 295 would be over 11.5in wide tread width and would be about 26.5in tall
295 devided by 25.4=11.61 tread width
11.61x.50=5.805x2=11.61+15=26.61 tall tire.
