I cant say about the 69, but i ran a 650 holley with an adapter from spread to square ports and used a drop base on my 76 with no issues.

Don't know how much I can help, but I run a Holley 650 DP on my '72 with a 350/4 speed. I use an Edelbrock Performer manifold and a Moroso drop base air cleaner. With all of that, I have about a 1/4" of clearance between the stock hood and the air cleaner stud which I have cut down to just a few threads for the nut to grab hold of. Not me but the one on the air cleaner!

just be careful, not sure how tall the intake you want to use really is. In the end you will need to be mindful of the clearance.

I know this: Once you have pocked a hole in a vette hood with a breather stud because your math was just slightly off you will be very mindful of clearance.

If you're referring to the spread bore 650 cfm Holley Quadrajet replacement, then yes, it will fit with no issues. The 350/300 and 350/350 used the same spread bore Quadrajet intake manifold.

If you're referring to the square bore 650 double pumper, you will have to use an adapter to fit the carburetor to the manifold and this puts hood clearance as questionable. This assumes your reference point is the factory small block hood used from '68-'72.

I write "questionable" since some cars it's not an issue and some cars it just won't clear the base hood. No two C3s are precisely the same when it comes to body fit on the chassis and you run into those tight clearance issues where it does work on one car and not on another. So just because someone else says it worked for them, don't just get to dropping the hood without being double damn sure you have the clearance.

If you're contemplating a square bore intake, like the aluminum LT-1 or an aftermarket high rise, then it becomes very doubtful you will have the clearance. There is a reason Chevy used the big block hood on the LT-1 cars.

on my 79 i have an r.p.m air gap a 1/2 in spacer a dropped base air cleaner with a 3" filter with no issue, while people say oh that manifold won't fit. so do the math and check , you might be surprised what will fit.

I have a Holley 650 DP on and weiend stealth intake with a modified stock duel snorkel air cleaner and it fits under my stock 79 hood. Not sure of the hood clearance difference between different year hoods.

Holley list 6210 is a direct bolt on. They are difficult to find it good shape though. It is a 650 spread bore double pump with the factory divorced choke set up. I think that they were available in vacuum secondary too but, I don't know that list number. I do think that the 350/300 and the 350/350 used the same intake manifold, but someone may dispute that.
