Holley 4165
There is a carb posted fore sale and I am interested however I have a few questions. This is a Holley 4165 650 CFM. Will this carb be large enough for my 68 427/390, will the stock air cleaner fit on carb and under the BB hood, and will the stock fuel line be the same. I thank you for your help.

It will probably work fine. But for my $$, a properly tuned (Lars, Henry, Cliff) Quadra-Junk is the only way to go. Just my 2 cents, based on my experience. It also depends on your goals for the car...

Long story short I have the right QJ # match to car however I hade it rebuilt (by a pro) and when I put it back on the car it did not run properly (float problem I think) Took it back to pro still on car and he striped the fuel inlet. Now we are having words about replacement. Until this is resolved I need a carb.
