Passenger area engine heat
1972 coupe just purchased. Car runs great, but engine heat came into passenger and driver area. Is this an easy fix?

Several places for it creep in from. Does your car have A/C?. It can come in from a bad hood seal, the plenum that runs to the fresh air in the cowl may need sealed. If you have a A/C it could be a that the water shut off valve is not working correctly or a missing drain tube from the evaporator housing. Or the heater door needing resealed the list goes on....Others will jump in

Check out the "interior heat" thread in the general section for a thorough investigation of the issue. You are not alone, and it is not an easy fix. There are lots of strategies in that thread for you to consider.
