Default Dome light 1977

I just had my 1977 corvette painted and 2.5 months later I got the car back and the dome light stays on for 30-60 minutes after the doors are shut. I understand that the timer is taped to the wiring harness between the tac and the speedometer how do I get to it ??

Hi, you have to lift the dash pad which is not to much of a problem in warm weather
There is an alloy cylinder that is your dimmer relay switch, you can remove this completely and connect the 2 ends which means you open the door, interior lights on shut door it's off
(that's what I did on my 77 because of a power drain)
cheers Dave
