With my lumpy race cam I don't know as I could switch to a fuel injected system, plus my rebuilt engine may be a bit too loose for a stable system needed. It would be nice for the benefits but may be a headache to keep operating properly and not worth the money in the end. just my 2 cents..

I have an EZ-EFI and run the bottom of the page Thumpr cam. It works just fine (and I really like it).

A lumpy Cam can cause the Air passing threw a Carb to reverse and pass threw the Carb more than once. Not all the time, just under certain conditions. Driving the fuel curve wild. A FI system couldn't care less what way or how the Air is going. This is why when FI systems were first being installed on high performance engines it was discovered that FI was a quick fix for an over Cam'd engine.
What did you do about the Corvette tail housing tranny mount. I have a 91 Corvette 700r4 (actually have the whole TPI engine/ECM/ harness/tranny sitting in my basement as I type) and am researching options for mounting the rear of the tranny. I know I'll have to shorten drive shaft.

Swap tail housings with another 700 trans, from a more 'normal' car...simple swap....
I always scrounge together used GM stuff to make the fuel injection system. I have installed with the GM TBI, LT1 and LS1 stuff. Like the others, I wouldn't go back to a carb either.
For guys planning EFI with an auto O/D transmission, put aside planning for a 200-4R or 700-R4 and think about using the 4L60e instead. It's very nice being able to set the shift curves and converter lockup curves on the computer screen. the upshift and downshift through each gear as well as the converter lockup and unlock for each gear are adjustable on a curve using throttle position and speed. You won't regret the choice one you've tried it. I'll never use a valve body automatic again.

Bowtie set me up with a long tail shaft housing with regular mounting points. They had me use the mount for a 200R4. This all sounds like a hassle, but Bowtie can walk you through it real easy. And it was a lot cheaper than I was expecting. I bought a new TV cable from them and even though I had had it for months before I found I had the wrong one for my setup, they took it back, no problem. Nice guys.

Sorry to off-topic this thread but.....
Auto part art! Rick's Stainless tank with Walbro 400 liter/hour internal pump.
This is obviously not for my C3 but rather my 70 Chevelle. I have a VetteWorks EFI tank that is going in my 71 stingray with the internal F-body pump. I'd hate to hide such a beauty behind a spare tire carrier!
