I had a little problem the other day when I was changing lanes and hit a deep patch of gravel causing me to spin wildly (on the highway). I did about a 720 in the road and stopped on TOP of the curb. I hit with both tires on the driver side and hopped up onto it. Luckily for me, no one hit me or called the cops. As far as I can tell so far, there was no body or suspention damage as I seem to have bounced my way up there. Unfortunately one of my American Racing rims caught the edge of the curb and got bent.
Is there a way to fix this or to buy just one of these rims? They cost a fortune for a full set and I am getting married soon, so a new set is out of the question... Am I hosed? or is there something that I can do about it?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance guys.

There are places that specialize in repairing any kind of rim. I've run across them in the past, but didn't need their services at the time, so I can't remember their names. Keep bouncing this to the top and somebody will know where to take it.
There's an old German man here in Baltimore who owns a shop called "Ye Olde Wheel Works". He specializes in straightening bent mags, etc. I've seen ads for others in Car and Driver, etc. I'm sure it will cost more than $20.00 to have a mag straightened, repolished, rechromed, etc. I paid $125.00 to have one 53-55 hubcap restored by a guy in Minnesota. I paid $20.00 for it at a flea market. Sold it for $250.00 at Carlisle, so I made out OK :) Chuck
I have had 3 aluminum rims fixed over the last year. While at the shop they showed some of the stuff they fix and you can take a wheel you would think was junk and they can make it look like new. My wheels cost between $40 and $80 US depending on how bad the wheel was. The one wheel was out of round, slightly bent side to side and the lip was chewed up. It was for a matched set of IROC wheels so was worth doing.

Tell me about it...I buggered up a wheel once. I never did get around to fixing it as I sold the wheels before I could. The guy told me about $150 Canadian dollars. He was going to weld, file and polish...
