Has anybody used Duntov for a diff rebuild? if so, let me know what your experience was.
Thanks
Fred
Don't walk or run but strap a personal jet pack on your back and fly as far away from Duntov as you can. Crap customer service. Overpriced parts. Incompetent staff. I have personally experienced all of the aforementioned occurrences. The ones chiming in on this thread will all have their very own horror stories. Enjoy.
I told you what happened to me. On the other hand, my friend bought a rebuilt 3.08 from them about 2 years ago. It is on a 468 that is putting out 501 ft-lbs at the rear wheels and it has been fine so far. So, not every diff they put out is bad.

two years ago tracdogg2 Mike Dwyer might have still been working there doing diff rebuilding.
I can't think of any positive posts I've ever seen about them (Duntov) but I can think of many negative ones. Here's one that preceded this one by a couple of days- http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c3-t...g-problem.html

My friend bought his diff from Duntov about a month before I did. After a short time, I sent my "rebuilt" rear to Gary Ramadei for an overhaul, which he started on February /March of 2011. So that's the time frame.
