I found this amusing, thought others who have spent a lot of time and money on resturation of there C3s might see humor in it also. :D

 Gotta admit it took some imagination. But I probably would think it was funny, my car was found under a tree in someone's back yard.

Re: Amusing Diecast on Ebay (GrandSportC3)
At the last Corvette Expo in Knoxville there was a guy there that made these style setups. He had all kinds of cars. Couple of GTOs, Camaros and Mustangs. All pretty neat I thought.

It'd be funny getting teeny tiny little packages from UPS a couple times a week while you restored it

Re: Amusing Diecast on Ebay (freemyer)
That is cool.
The only problem with realism is the "For Sale" sign. It shouldn't have one because the owner is going to restore it someday...

Re: Amusing Diecast on Ebay (freemyer)
The only difference between this one and the real ones left on the side of a barn to rot away is.....THIS ONES FOR SALE. Any real ones I have found are never for sale. "I'm going to restore it some day" is all I ever get. Yea right.

Looks like another $20K restoration job to me.
I miss-judged my first one, the wife would kill me if I made that mistake again. :smash: Heck, I think I would kill myself if I did that again.
