Idler Arm Advise
Hi All, getting ready to order some parts for the winter maintenance
routine. Want to renew the idler arm. Who has the best one?
Is there a difference with a heavy duty unit?
Thanks

I put a HD Moog on my car. Much thicker and higher quality than what the PO had on it.

I agree on the moog.part # k6100 seemed of a better design than the original delco.

Moog, just installed Moog control arm bushings to replace crap low cost ones after two years and 12K miles. Idler arm is next and that will be a Moog.

I bought a roller bearing idler arm about 10 yrs ago. Thought it was pretty trick compared to the standard bushing type. Don't know the brand, etc. so you'll have to check around to see if they are still available.

also look at VP&B. they have a very nice looking idler arm. don't know of the MOOG arm, but MOOG is a terrific brand. Terry
