Default 1978 Power Window Wiring
Ok I've searched high and low and the diagrams available are not helping. Most have cryptic abbreviations or

Does anyone have a wiring diagram or better yet a photo of the power window relay where it is located, and what color wires are actually attached to it for an early 1978 vin 1765 (thats early I'm guessing)?

Remove the console side panel on the drivers side. The window relay is just under the heater controls. The wire colors are black, Pink/black, Pink and orange/black.

Thanks for the reply. Entire dash/control panel is out. There is no relay that has those wires. I need a photo of the relay and the hook up. The relay I have is for Alarm none other.

Ok there doesnt seem to be a photo anywhere on the entire Al Gore internet of a power window relay in its proper place on a car for an entire 10 years 1969 thru 1978. Geez can someone help me out?

Thanks Mike. But the AIM doesn't show a good drawing of it in relation to the anti theft relay. Good thought tho! It would be nice if the AIM had all the answers wouldn't it?

Thanks Cami very helpful but I'm really looking for a picture of the shift console opened up with everything where it is supposed to be. The PO did some custom (as in cut everything ) wiring. There is no relay in there now just cut pink/ pink- black and orange/ black wires.

Thanks all for helping bought a 6 dollar 30 amp relay and just put it under the "there" where everything else is.

Were you able to locate the window relay? Im looking for mine. I believe I found the anti theft relay but I cannot find the window relay. Can you provide help?
