I made the mistake of buying a used HEI distributer off of ebay. Just about every part, except the shaft and body are junk. Can I buy all of these parts at NAPA?
NAPA and any good auto store will have the pickup coil, module, cap and rotor.
One common problem I have ran into with the HEI distributors is the pivots for the weights became undercut and the weights became oblong.
KD tools used to make a kit to repair them and add bushings to make them operate smoother.

Re: Distributer rebuild. Any tips? (daily_driver)
And Auto Zone will gladly accept your distributor as a core and hand you a rebuilt one that you can drop in.
I'm not poking fun at you, I think this would be your best bet.
By the time you gather up all the parts you need and then find out it has bad bushings and or whatever and still have to go and get a rebuilt one. you will come out ahead to get it over with. IMHO.
Or go over to the C-4 guys and see if anyone has a new take off from a ZZ-4 purchase that they didn't use. The GM Hi-Perf HEI is a little over $200 and I bought one less cap & rotor for $60 shipped here on the forum. JIM :seeya
