Hi, I recently became the proud owner of a '73 "fixer-upper". I just had a ton of engine work done to make it drivable but now am faced with putting the rear window back in (it was out when I bought the car). I was hoping someone could provide some insight as to what I will need (parts wise) and any tips so I don't mess it up too badly.
I am just planning on putting in the stock window. I thought about doing the removable upgrade but I couldn't find anywhere to get all the peices/parts I would need. Any ideas where I could look?
I bought mine off ebay, but I would think any salvage yard or someone parting out a 68-72 would be able to supply the parts. About $200 for everything is about max.
I put the removable rear window in my 73. It is great. Doesn't take much effort once the parts are found. I got the window and trim panels on ebay. I bought the latches from a used parts dealer. Bought the weatherstripping from Dr. Rebuild.
