what could cause squeeking in right front

Default what could cause squeeking in right front
1978 put wheels on (18 inch 255/45 up front) and have 1 inch ADAPTERS not spacer. As I speed up it squeeks along with the speed of the car. No vibration at all even at 70-80 mph.

Any ideas what could cause this?

brakes or something rubbing on the rotor, like the backing plate.

Exactly. Check your wheel bearings. Even slightly loose bearings can allow things to move around and moving the wheel center-line out can strain marginal bearings.
