M20 Input shaft play

Default M20 Input shaft play
Should the input shaft have any play or wobble?

I removed it and I am trying to determine it's overall condition.

I did some more research and the play is pretty common. It shifted fine.

I pulled it to do the clutch and will replace side cover gasket and shift lever seals.

Even the hole where the hole where the counter shaft is located looks pretty good.
