Copper\brass was stock. Are you wanting to keep the car stock?

Just put a Dewitt's Direct Fit in my '69, L71. It is the alum. one, but I used their option of them painting it black as original. Perfect fit and real happy.

I have put a few in they work and fit great. No tank leaks after a few months as with most copper/brass radiators.

I chose a DeWitt radiator because it was the only one made that I could find for a standard shift car, i.e., there was no auto transmission cooling fitting connections installed (which a 4 spd. car doesn't need)...also had it painted black to look stock...going on 4 years with no problems...and it runs cool all the time....good luck!
